Editorial: Vermont City Marathon is a spectacle to be celebrated in Burlington Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, as well as the return of one of Burlington's signature events: The Vermont City Marathon. NBC5 is a proud sponsor of the 26.2-mile race through the Queen City, and we're honored to be at the center of the action in Waterfront Park with a front-row seat as participants cross that finish line.
